The story happens in a dream-like city, and almost everything seems like a weird reflection of the "real world". If you (or anyone reading) can, check it out. It's pretty good.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18369097747870277666noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8660116412991738073.post-73821440865332992052014-04-13T15:54:53.919-07:002014-04-13T15:54:53.919-07:00Yes, the surreal-scapes of Lyle are definitely an ...Yes, the surreal-scapes of Lyle are definitely an inspiration. My game is equally dream-like (though slightly more realistic, if that makes sense), as living in the Midwest US is kind of like an illogical, nightmarish dream that one recalls in a foggy, sleep-deprived state. Haha

My foray into the world of video games has been relatively recent. I originally started programming text-based adventures, and moved into graphics about a year ago. Since then, I've been dividing my limited time (and attention) between a few different game projects and RPGs.

Maybe someday, with enough time and discipline on my end, I'll have a game for you to play and review! ;)AAhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16214743605818325173noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8660116412991738073.post-51333073034901157842014-04-13T12:21:30.174-07:002014-04-13T12:21:30.174-07:00Well, I don't know if you were going for somet...Well, I don't know if you were going for something so "surreal" as Lyle, but it mostly takes place in big structures, so it might inspire you there.

Didn't know you worked on video games, too. Although, now that I think of it,the pixel art should have given me and idea :)Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18369097747870277666noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8660116412991738073.post-20805152220544628992014-04-12T13:12:56.634-07:002014-04-12T13:12:56.634-07:00This game looks great!

It looks stylistically similar to a game I'm working on (whose goal is to escape a slummy city in the Midwestern US), so it may help me with some of the elements I'm currently stuck over.AAhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16214743605818325173noreply@blogger.com
