Review #56 – Free Video Game
Verge, Afterlife's Crossroads

the same creator of Depict1, Verge is a beautifully designed platformer with a cardinal law: Death is not the
End. You take control of a lost soul, and must navigate
between two worlds to get to your final resting place. It's not the first game
with a “Dual Map” feature but it does add a twist. In order to
get to the Flipworld, you have to die on the Overworld.
The game does include puzzle elements, mainly
figuring out where to kill yourself on the Overworld to access certain parts of
the Flipworld, but nothing too fancy. It's mostly a good old fashioned
platformer.
Great graphics, awesome music, and a decent, if
short, challenge. Highly recommended.
